Amateur Radio 2011 Field Day
Field Day is an annual international amateur radio exercise where long distance communications are practiced with operators all over the world. Usually in the US, such events bring amateur radio clubs together (along with barbeque and socializing.)
A lot can be learned about radio communication, antenna designs and atmospheric radio signal bouncing in these events.
